Theresa Locke, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist/Business Owner
Theresa was educated at the University of California, Berkeley, earning Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Physical Education. She graduated from the University of Southern California, with a Master's in Physical Therapy (1985) and earned her transitional Doctorate in Private Practice Management through Evidence in Motion (2010). Since 1993, when Pinnacle Physical Therapy first opened its doors, Theresa has dedicated herself to not only providing the highest quality of care to the patients she serves, but has also been very active in supporting the local community in youth sports, and volunteer organizations. Outside the practice, Theresa enjoys staying fit, playing golf and helping her husband with the family vineyard and tasting room.
Ashley Nelson, PT, DPT, MTC
Ashley completed a Bachelor's degree in Physiology with a minor in Psychology from the University of Arizona. Ashley received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine under Dr. Stanley Paris. She finished specialized advanced training for a Manual Therapy Certification through the University of St Augustine. Ashley believes in establishing a comprehensive program including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education to maximize function for her patients. Ashley moved to Calaveras County and joined the Pinnacle Physical Therapy team in 2011. She enjoys snowmobiling, sailing, photography, and spending time with her family.
Gerald A Solberg, MSPT
Jerry received his Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from Brigham Young University where he was also on the gymnastics team. He received his Physical Therapy Certificate from the University of Iowa in 1967 and his Master's degree from the University of the Pacific in 1996. After serving in the Air Force as a Physical Therapist during the Vietnam War, he moved to California where his experience has included work in rehabilitation centers, orthopedic physical therapy clinics and home health. He taught physical therapy for 13 years at the University of the Pacific where he specialized in Kinesiology, Prosthetics, Orthotics and Gait Analysis. He also has an interest in TMJ disorders and treatment. Jerry brings a well rounded background in physical therapy to Pinnacle. His interests outside of health care include hiking, biking, skiing, golf and wood working. In his spare time Jerry is a professional musician.
Patient Care Coordinator
Dulcie has been living in Calaveras County for the past ten years. She worked as a Certified Massage Therapist in Arnold and most recently coordinating volunteers at a large non-profit in San Andreas. She finds it rewarding to work in an environment where people can improve their quality of life through the knowledgeable guidance to fitness and good health provided by our excellent therapists.
In her free time, Dulcie enjoys taking long hikes in the forest with family and newly adopted dog, Ralphie, spending summer afternoons on New Melones Reservoir, traveling to the coast and reading a good book.
As Patient Care Coordinator, Dulcie is responsible for scheduling appointments and supporting our patients in any way she can. She is usually the first face you see as you enter the clinic and the last when you leave. You will find her to be empathetic and friendly. Her bubbly personality lifts everyone's spirits.
Nicole and her husband moved to Calaveras County in 2011. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, she has settled into country life very happily. She has many years of administrative and office management experience and finds providing excellent customer service especially rewarding. At Pinnacle, she assists with various financial and administrative tasks on a part time basis. In her spare time, Nicole is an avid reader, enjoys cooking for family and friends, and participating in the care of her grand daughter.
Sherry has lived in Calaveras County for 23 years and worked seventeen years for a family practice M.D. Sherry has four grandchildren, three horses, two each adopted cats and dogs. She enjoys the outdoors especially swimming, riding, fishing and camping with her husband, Jim. Sherry is a dedicated volunteer and accomplished crafter; she likes to paint and re-purpose things. Her primary responsibilities at the clinic will be verifying insurance, coding claims and reconciling patient accounts. Please call or email Sherry with any billing questions.
Annie Dahlberg, PT Aide
Originally from San Francisco, Annie grew up being involved in every activity she could possibly imagine. She attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where she continued her passion for movement and acquired her Bachelor of Dance with an emphasis in kinesiology. After her time in the Rocky Mountains, she made her way back to the bay area where she discovered a true fit for Physical Therapy. Currently residing in Calaveras County, she is beyond grateful for this opportunity to learn under this wonderful team of professionals here at Pinnacle. Annie enjoys helping and guiding others in understanding functional movement, balance, and wellness of the body. Outside of work, Annie is skiing, hiking with her pup, dancing, practicing yoga, and spending time with family and friends.
Jeff Schroeder, NCTMB
Jeff received his initial massage therapist certification in 2002 from The Body Therapy School of Massage in Palo Alto, CA. and eventually became an instructor there from 2003 through 2008. He received his National Certification in 2005. Jeff has been the in-house massage therapist at the Crystal Springs Chiropractic clinic in San Mateo, CA since 2002, and still sees long-time clients there monthly.
He also has provided massage over the years to Stanford Hospital, Palo Alto Medical Foundation, The Birches Fine Eldercare, and various other Bay Area corporations. During football season, Jeff provides recovery massage to the Stanford University football team the day after their games.
Prior to becoming a massage therapist, Jeff worked for United Airlines for 21 years and Visa for 13 years until an arm injury led him to experience therapeutic massage for the first time. The results of one session convinced him to learn more about it and eventually a new career began.
His interests outside of healthcare include working with his sweetheart, Debra, on renovating their "new" home in Forest Meadows. They both also enjoy hiking, physical fitness, and exploring the area.
